Who we are

SaralPooja is a product of Bhrugu Astrology, and is operated by the same business. Payments for SaralPooja guides are taken by Bhrugu Astrology and will appear on your statement under that name. Your account is shared between the two: signing in here signs you in to Bhrugu Astrology, and the reverse.

What SaralPooja is

SaralPooja publishes step-by-step guides for performing pooja at home, in English, Hindi and Marathi. It is a reference you follow yourself. No priest, astrologer or other person is engaged on your behalf, and no ritual is performed for you.

Using the guides

On every guide, the muhurta, the preparation, the samagri list and the arrangement plan are free to read without an account. You may use the guides for your own household worship freely. You may not republish, resell or redistribute the text, translations, photographs or diagrams, in whole or in substantial part, without written permission.

Paid guides and access

Some guides sell access to the vidhi, the katha, the aarti, the prasad and the falshruti. The price and the access period are always shown on the guide before you pay, and that displayed price is the price charged. Access is to one guide: buying one does not unlock another.

Buying requires signing in with Google, so that access can be attached to an account and restored if you change device. Access is personal and for your own household use; please do not share the account or the paid text.

There is no subscription and no auto-renewal. A timed unlock ends when its period ends, and you are not charged again. What happens when a payment goes wrong, and when we refund, is set out in the Refund Policy.

Dakshina

Dakshina is a voluntary offering. Nothing on this site is withheld from anyone who does not give it, and giving it grants no additional content, access or service. Payments are collected through Razorpay. A dakshina once given is not refunded — see the Refund Policy, including the narrow exception for a genuine mistake.

Accuracy, and its limits

Ritual practice varies by region, community and family. We have taken care with the vidhi, the mantras and the Sanskrit, but we do not claim any single form is the only correct one. Where our guide and your family's practice differ, follow your family. See the Disclaimer.

Changes

We may update the guides, prices, dakshina amounts and these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of the jurisdiction in which we are registered will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
