The short version
Reading a guide on SaralPooja does not require an account and does not create one. We do not ask for your name, your email, your date of birth or your gotra, and the site has no sign-in.
What stays in your browser
Two things are stored on your own device, in your browser’s local storage, and are never sent to us: which samagri items you have ticked off, and which of the three languages you last chose. Clearing your browser data removes both. They are a convenience for you, not a record for us.
Payments
If you choose to give dakshina, the payment is handled entirely by Razorpay on their own pages. Whatever you enter there — card details, UPI ID, contact information — goes to Razorpay, not to us. We never see or store your card or UPI details. Razorpay’s handling of that data is governed by their privacy policy.
Hosting and logs
The site is served by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested) for operational and security purposes. All photographs and illustrations are our own and are served from our own hosting; fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
Links out
Links to Bhrugu Astrology and to the app stores leave this site. What those sites collect is covered by their own policies, not this one.
Your rights
Because we hold no account and no profile for you, there is generally nothing for us to export or delete. If you have given dakshina and want the payment record associated with it removed, write to us and we will do what the law and our payment provider’s records permit.
